A lonely and conflicted older man hires a young male sex worker named Johnny to be his first sexual experience with another man. The intimate night they share forces them both to come face-to-face with difficult truths they've been trying to outrun.

Brandon Crowder - Writer / Producer / Actor "Johnny"
Brandon Crowder received a B.F.A. from TheatreVCU in Richmond, VA, with an emphasis in Ritual Poetic Drama. Shortly after graduation, he relocated to Los Angeles to continue cultivating his craft as an artist and to explore the medium of storytelling for film and television. Previous film credits include the award-winning short films The Ballerina and the Rocking Horse and Still A Rose. As a playwright, Brandon has created and produced original theatrical works with The Conciliation Project, the Los Angeles-based theatre company Love Nail Tree, and Make Art Happen: LA. Drawing on his experience, Brandon put those skills to work and crafted his first screenplay for the film JOHNNY. Brandon is passionate about sharing stories from and about the LGBT community, with the hope that exploring the complexity of gay experiences will contribute to an ongoing dialogue that promotes the understanding that members of marginalized communities are just as equally nuanced and substantial as everyone else, and their stories deserve to be told.
Micah Stuart - Director / Producer
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Micah Stuart has spent over a decade working in the Los Angeles film industry. After getting his start producing an independent feature film, he decided to study filmmaking from the ground up and shifted his focus to editing. He started on the ground floor of a trailer company as a production assistant and quickly advanced to become an editor, working on movie trailers (Eat Pray Love, Immortals, Young Adult) and independently, films (Izzy Gets The F*ck Across Town, Sadie, Dark Hearts). As his knowledge of storytelling and cinematic vision grew, Micah once again shifted his focus, this time to directing. After studying at UCLA, he made his debut as a director with the film, The Ballerina And The Rocking Horse, an award-winning sci-fi drama. He has since directed many projects including Lucidia, which was honored by SAG in their short film showcase. As he advances as a filmmaker he strives to always push his work beyond the boundaries of what he has done before.
Tony Abatemarco - Actor “Sam”
Tony is Co-Artistic Director at Skylight Theatre Company, “...a powerhouse of new play development.” – Dramatists’ Magazine. He founded two LA theatres: The Accident Theatre & The Night House. Among his awards: Ovation (Lead Performance – IRMA VEP), LA Weekly (multiple), two NEA Directing Fellowships. He is a 3x LA Drama Critics’ Nominee (Lead), most recently for: Rothko in RED at ICT, Long Beach. He also appeared in Long Beach Opera’s The Soldier’s Tale by Stravinsky, 2014. Member: Antaeus. Regional credits: South Coast Rep, Pittsburgh Public, Williamstown, Arena, Folger. NY: Rattlestick, Public Theatre, Cherry Lane. Director: Broadway (Julie Harris, LUCIFER’S CHILD) & London West End (Robyn Peterson’s CATWALK CONFIDENTIAL). Teacher: USC & SMC Emeritus College. As playwright, he has won LA Weekly & DramaLogue awards. His most recent play, Beautified, had its world premiere at Skylight Theatre, 2012. His play Forever House premieres this January, 2016.
Clay Pruitt - Producer
Clay Pruitt, freelance writer/producer, began his career working as the Canvass Director for the 2008 Obama Campaign, before moving to Los Angeles to work in film and television. Pruitt has since worked for the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program and as a coordinator for the Outfest Film Festival and Palm Springs International Film Festival. During his time at William Morris Endeavor (WME), Pruitt worked in the Motion Picture Literary Department and with the Global Department on packaging and selling of independent films. Pruitt has worked with a number of high profile directors including Michael Sucsy (HBO's Grey Gardens), developing a range of film and TV projects.
Austin Nordell - Director Of Photography
Born in Mesa, Arizona, Austin grew up with an undying passion for the art of film-making and visual storytelling, and has achieved his experience through hands on work in as many departments behind the camera as possible. His process of experimentation coupled with observation on diverse sets eventually led him to a clear realization that cinematography would be his career of choice, fueling his creativity and passion more than any other form of expression. As an award-winning cinematographer, Austin thrives on creativity and collaboration and has a varied list of work including feature films, music videos, Documentaries, a variety of commercials, web content for clients such as AOL, Coca-Cola, Maxim Magazine, Under Armour, Hollywood Electrics, SunCentral Inc., the MLB and many more.
